Who said you have to travel far to live new experiences? Taronga Zoo is now open to the public, and it's waiting for you! Now is the best time to visit locally, where it's safe and fun at the same time.

What a day of fun at Taronga Zoo looks like:

First of all, we met with the team at the gates of Taronga Zoo at 11.30am, ready to start having fun. We walked around the Zoo to get to know the area before we started our activities planned for the day. Our first event was Wild Ropes, located in the middle of the Zoo, where we had the opportunity to climb like monkeys at the same height as the trees. The excitement was real! Nothing better than a dose of adrenaline rush in the morning. And, if you are thinking that extreme sports might not be right for you, don't worry! The staff at Taronga Zoo were very helpful and gave us all a training before starting, so we felt confident all the time. Plus, the safety measures are on point, so no need to panic! Talking about safety, Taronga Zoo also provides excellent COVID-19 health regulations to ensure your safety and the others, by practising social distancing and wearing masks at all times.

We then had lunch at one of the restaurants available at the Zoo, with a great variety of food and beverage, where we were able to have a rest before moving to our next activity. Our next step was a guided tour of the Zoo, where we learned all about the animals living at the Zoo and were able to see all of them from a very close distance. We were very lucky to have a beautiful day, so we were able to enjoy the tour and take exclusive photos of the animals and the view.

Selfies with Animals? Yes please.

Our Instagrammer Girls and Bloggers were so excited to live this amazing experience with the beautiful landscape, where you can feel the proximity of the wild animals (while maintaining a safe distance) and have a great view of the iconic skyline of Sydney with the Opera House on the background.

Taronga Zoo has also great shows available to the audience, and other public events such as Keeper Talks, Kids Activities and Major Events, such as the upcoming Twilight at Taronga Concert Series. All shows and keeper talks are included for free with your Zoo entry ticket, available for purchase online and at the location.

As you can see, there is a lot more to Taronga Zoo than what most people thought, so make sure you visit and you'll be in for a guaranteed special time. These activities offered by the Zoo are also great for families, work events and friends' reunions. See you soon and stay safe!
